I have read here that three people turned down the BBC to do "Around The World In 80 Days" before MP accepted. Just curious who those fellows are that turned the job down. Anyone know? Eric Idle doing "Sahara?" Hmmm.

Alan Whicker, Miles Kington & Noel Edmonds. (Although perhaps not in that order, dunno). Bet they`re all weeping in their beer now ...

I heard on the radio this morning that Noel Edmonds is giving up television for the moment - he wants to go travelling, walking around Australia for a year.
