Hitch hike?

OR post yourself in a big box (don't forget the airholes)

i could do that, but unlike david walliams, i am unable to swim the english channel... and i don't much fancy sharing the back of a lorry with cheese/milk/whatever, unless it happens to be a creme egg lorry...

Are you heading from the UK? If so I recommend www.skyscanner.net

It will search all the budget airlines for you.

Ryanair are unbelievably cheap. I am planning a 4 day trip next year to Malmo and Copenhagen and found return flights for myself, my wife and my daughter for £65 including taxes!!!

If you look hard enough you can get return flights to almost anywhere in Europe now for £30 and under per person.

Seriously, for £150 you can have a weekend in Monaco and in quality accomodation too. I went there twice in 2005 to watch my team play football for about that.

I would say that £150 isn't that small a budget if you are prepared to search vigourously on the internet.

Do you have anywhere particularly in mind?

brilliant!! thanks so much! i've never heard of that site!

i was thinking of paris, prague or barcelona (very photogenic places), but very expensive as well! will have to settle for something a little cheaper!

thanks for the advice! xxx

Hmm Paris is pricey, even the cheap flights aren't as cheap as the others. Barcelona should be no probs. You could easily get flights and accomodation for 4 or maybe even 5 nights for £150.

Also have look here:

They have rooms in Barcelona for as little as 32 euros a night in March.
