Who Would be you ideal travel companion? by johnnythemonkey on 3 January 2007 12:05pm

Firstly, the answer Michael Palin is not allowed.
You can choose between people living or dead(though they should be alive at the time of embarkation!!)
I will start with Peter Ustinov,as I thought he was a most interesting man.

Bet this thread has never been done! But I'm new!

Glad to see you're still with us Johhny. I would have chosen Ustrinov had you not got in first. Like the thread by the way.
Bill Clinton cos he's sooo cuddly.

Well my first thought was of course MP, but as that is not allowed I then thought of either Johnny Depp or Jim Morrison (not James)....but then we wouldn't get much travelling done (hee hee *dirty laugh*).

Che Guevara, I think, as he is a hero of mine.

I'd choose Missy coz we'd never stop laughing and she's ace :)

Ray Mears, being an authorty on bushcraft and survival, would be quite useful as a travel companion if we got lost in the jungle or stranded in the desert!

Otherwise, George Clooney will do!

Awww, thanks Kaz :o)

I love Peter Ustinov, Johnny. But then again, you're probably not surprised to hear that, are you? ;)

My mom would second your motion, Anne, she adores Johnny Depp :)

As for me, either of my two favorite Discovery Channel guys would do. Mike Rowe(Dirty Jobs)or Adam Savage(Mythbusters).

Another two (greedy aint I) would be Tony Robinson and/or Michael Wood. I am enthusiastic about history and the latter in particular shares my passion. Er, not literally you understand....though he is dishy too!

Well, if I can't choose MP, I'll take Tony Bourdain. He always ferrets out the best food.

I'd go with Che Guevara. But he's already been chosen.
So I'll choose Derek Acorah.
