Who would be your nightmare travel companion? by johnnythemonkey on 3 January 2007 1:17pm

Thought I would start a thread to run alongside the other.Innovative?
I would nominate the guy who sat alongside Meg and myself on our 26 hour flight to OZ,many years ago.
I should have throttled him.But AIR-RAGE had yet to be invented!I missed out again.........drat.

Well - mmmmm let me think. Mary Whitehouse? I don't often actually HATE people, but when she was alive I literally hated her!

Both she and her self-righteous organisation tried to censor films and TV (including Python!!) instead of letting people decide for themselves. Did they think we were thick or something and couldn't use the off switch if we were offended??

*Fume fume*

On second thoughts, perhaps not - she would end up overboard!!

My old boss. It took all my self-control to keep from quiting whenever we had to take a business trip together.

YES! Pope RatZinger.
Probably John Cleese would be pretty challenging as well, don't you think?

First of all John, what did this guy DO? See you should have told him to go out and play.

Hmmm, who I would not want to travel with. Hyacinth in Keeping Up Appearances. She could start World War III...

You know Gerald Durrell's books, Martin? They are so wonderful and you are amazingly well-read for someone so young.
