Improvements in Mexico. by tucsonmike on 13 January 2007 6:57am

Now that Obrador finally admitted defeat, Felipe Calderon can get on with running the nation. He is already trying to crack down on the drug gangs near the border. He actually had soldiers disarm the Tijuana Police Dept.

Eventually, I will start traveling on the bus in Sonora, now that my Spanish is improving. There is a fair in Monterrey in September. It is an International affair and I will dig out the website. Monterrey is where my Mexican pen friend lives.

You can travel on luxury busses in Mexico, however, there are many different lines. The bus company that comes to Tucson will take me as far as Guadalajara.

So much to do, so little time. I would wake Yerbie up but that would be cruel.

What happened to Obrador's "parallel government"?

Oh his shadow govt is still there, but Calderon has picked up some of his positions thus taking wind out of Obradors sails.
