Actually something potentially more scary than moths, butterflies or EVEN cattle of whatever sex, is the fact that here in Stafford we may have..............a black panther!!!

Apparently 'the beast' has been spotted in various locations around the town and paw prints have been spotted by golfers in a bunker (I think it was).

People who have seen it have said it was NOT a large dog or domestic cat, and although experts have said that the prints could've been made by a large dog, this is doubted by those who have seen them.

Logic tells me that it is a large dog, but I am nevertheless a bit scared. Especially when we take Tosun out into the countryside!!

The husband scoffs at the sightings and says what would a panther be doing here, but I think all these big cat sightings we have had in England stem from the 1960s/70s craze among the wealthy for owning big cats. I reckon some of them, when the cats got too big or they had to have a licence, let them loose.

Any views, b-b?
