The Jimmy Buffett concert was ACe. No hitches with traffic either as we left the venue. I am still singing and swinging my hips to the music and tossing of the beach balls! Whew! What fun, though!

Having fallen out with the tabloid papers for printing bad news I picked up our local Dunfermline Press to find that 6 out of 7 of the items in their News Digest are good. Here they are:
Kelty fund-raisers' total tops £10,000;
2010 festival of music launched;
Couple raise £1300 in tribute to their father;
College lecturer stands for election;
Rugby club wins grant for new roof;
Boys welcome for new BBs session.
And elsewhere in the paper:
West Fifer helps in dramatic K2 rescue.

I have found a tabloid newspaper that doesn't seem to sensationalise a bad news story - The Scottish Daily Mail.

Scotland beat Macedonia in the football world cup qualifier 2 - 0. It keeps Scotland's hopes alive to qualify for the finals in South Africa.

I'm 100% at today's fish canning...every jar sealed. I'll have enough food for a few years. Quality food. The best! Sockeye salmon.

Well-fed Trekker

Orion and I will be going to the American Brittany Rescue picnic next weekend. We'll be able to watch Star from "Greatest American Dog" do an agility demonstration. And on top of that, Miley, a young lady Brit Orion has taken a shine to, plans to be there.

I didn't win the lottery on the weekend. Which is good news for someone else who did!

Jimmy Buffett concert sounds like a lot of fun. Parrotheads have a good time and don't make trouble.

They are a sight for the senses, Mike. If you ever get the chance, go to one. It's marvelous fun. The audience is part of the show, for certain!

England ladies football team have made it through to the European cup final. The game is on BBC2 at 4.45pm tomorrow.
My wife says that it is also good news that the sun is shining today - we've had some bad weather recently.
