A bit different to the movies then where once they've been hit a couple of times (or many times, depending on the film!!) they're dead!!

Poor things...

How come delicacies turned into talking about killing snakes????
:-(

Re: Michael Palin`s delicacies by sighthound on 9 December 2009 6:53pm

Because snakes are a great delicacy in Hong Kong where Mr. P. filmed that episode that he got in such hot water over. (I've never been tempted to eat the rattlesnakes I've killed although I hear they taste "just like chicken".)

Ok...
What I did mean was: could we please turn back to the issue "delicacies"? I`m looking forward for watering my mouth... :-)

Does anyone remember the Pole to Pole episode where he eats a bowl of pink yogurt type stuff, fermented with the saliva of old ladies spit? Yep, I said spit! Old ladies phlegm!

I hate to mention snakes again but....take it away Homer;

Nestor, apologies for getting off the topic you started but palinites do always go off on tangents. It seems to be in the nature of the people who are attracted to this site. I could opine on the reason for this but it would get us even farther from your original topic.
