Great! Just wanted to say that I'd have to have a long arm to reach Kevin to hit him, he and Sean were in Boston at an Aerosmith concert last Thursday night, when my left shoulder was hurting...on the train ride home they met the members of the band Cheap Trick and were chatting to them, also in the same train compartment was the small doc from House, Talb. I texted this to Kevin:

Tell Talb I said hi, and that it is probably pernioplasty syndrome, but it's never Lupus.

I crack myself up, I tell ya!

I emailed my story to you, pictures and all. Sounds as though Kevin and Sean had a great trip. Working on my interview questions for ya now.

Hey folks, we leave for California today, so if you email your short story between now and August 4th I won't be able to post it on the blog. Hope you are haing fun writing them. I look forward to reading them in a week or so.
All the best,

Hi Folks!
Hope all is well here?

The short story competition deadline is drawing near, August 31st. So if you still want a chance to win an unsigned, second hand copy of Michael Palin's The Truth now's your chance!!! I am doing my best to keep it like new, but this book has already been to London, Paris, on the Chunnel, New York, over the Atlantic, in Connecticut and at a football game! (I only watch American football when Sean plays, just to make sure he isn't getting hurt, otherwise I haven't got a clue what's happening on the field, so I just bring a book!)

I am hoping to buy a second new copy for myself when Michael shows up to do book signings in the States, somewhere, anywhere in the States.

Here's story number 5:

Just wondering if some Palinites who haven't entered the short story competition would like to be judges? The deadline for all short stories is August 31st.

Re: Short story competition by Loretto on 31 August 2012 3:04pm

The response to our little Short Story Competition was overwhelming!!!!!!

There are 4 stories....
Hannah
The Initial Secret
October, 1999. The Train Called the Silesia and The Trip to Poland
and
Bringing Mama Home

The story The Circles, written by yours truly, is not part of the competition.

So, if any of you feel inclined to read the stories and vote 1/10 here, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to John Wheelrim, Elaine and Mike for taking part.
