Hi again. Thanks for the welcome!

Eloise- Yes, I said archaeology major. Actually, I'm not technically in the major yet (a long story, involving much paperwork). But I will be soon. And I hope to eventually be an actual archaeologist, no matter whether Michael likes to make fun of them or not. ;-) Which I don't quite understand anyway, as Michael majored in history if I remember correctly. Archaeologists are, in a way, extreme historians.

raxpus, five foot six

PS. I'll email you more info if you like. I don't want to bore our non-archaeologically inclined Palinites too much.

A Ha!!

The old Pied Piper analogy eh??!!

Now there's a stroke of luck, me being a tooty flutey player among other things!!
I just knew all that learnin' an' practicin' would come in useful someday!!

The power of music and spam combined!! Corr, it don't get better than that folks!!

I can picture it now...............

Closet Palinites, emerging from under bushes, behind trees, out of garbage cans, 'hobbit like', scurrying after the globs of gleaming spam tossed left and right by the figure of the piper, who is playing a lilting, playful tune, that bears more than a passing resemblance to the '80 Days' theme with just the odd melodic turn slightly modified for copyright considerations ( the piper wishing to protect his/her legal position, in case the BBC decided to sue for missapropriated use of music...).

The little Palinites mesmerised by the melody, skip and gobble, gobble and skip until they reach the large grey doors of the Hormel factory. The doors slowly open and without missing a beat, the piper leads the merry Palinites through the doors and onwards into the canning rooms and protein production lines of this spam lovers nirvana.

The large grey doors slowly close behind them with a final "THUNK!" and all were never seen or heard from again, until now...............

Ellen, love. What, exactly, is your daily consumption of spam? It might be slightly (by 30 cans) over the recommened daily allowance.
1. You're scaring me (well, a bit.)
2. I can't actually think of anymore! Heck! I'll just go...
