Sheep? LOL...

I find "sheep" funny because I have had several *different* amusing encounters with the idea od the "sheep". First, there was this joke that my dad and I had relating sheep to bales of hay. (Don't ask!) Then there's this off-colour joke involving sheep and one of my friends (the one I sent a toy sheep too). In the Christmas play I was in last December, we had "sheep on a stick" (for our "live nativity scene" that a disordered group of church-goers were attempting to put on) which, in turn, flew sometimes when a fellow thespian couldn't tell that he wasn't holding the styrofoam sheep on the ground. Which, of course, amused me doubly because I kept thinking back to the last reason why I find sheep amusing...well, that very Python sketch involving Ovine Aviation you mentioned!

So that, my dear friend, is more info than you ever really needed to know about why I find sheep amusing. ;O) Plus they're cute. LOL!

Re: MORE introductions (for everyone) by Anna J on 12 February 2003 7:43pm

I've been hanging around here for several months so I guess I should finally introduce myself in this discussion too. So...
1) I'm Anna. Nearly my real name :]
2) I became a Python-fan about half a year ago and I have familiarized myself with Palin's career little by little since.
3) I'm 24.
4) (Do you have a travel bug too?) Just a small one.
5) I would like to visit UK. I'm interested in the countryside, the landscapes of the tv-series Emmerdale, you know?
6) I'm from Lahti, a town in southern Finland. Finland is a small northern country in which the weather is always either too cold or hot. Lahti is the town of ski jumping and other interesting hobbies (like pony trekking and camping)
7) I haven't seen Palin on tv but I'm looking forward to see Sahara this year. I've only read Pole to pole-book and at the moment I'm reading Around the world in 80 days. So I can't choose my favorite travellogue, yet.

Lyn, you'll be very pleased to know that I'm now smack in the middle of the Hemingway Adventure. So the pleasure is now being had and all is well thus far.
