In this thread, Mary mentioned signing up at Kelley's Palinite page. How do we go about doing that?

Thanks,
Michelle :)

hello everyone,i've just joined this site and i must say that i am quite excitied. this site has such a plethera of info that it's a wonderful addition to anyones internet library. hmm.. a little info about myself.
my name is crystal michelle(blake)massey
blake is my maiden name, i just got married this last october.
i work in a bakery for a grocery store based in texas, called H.E.B.
i live in victoria, texas, usa. and please, just because i'm from texas does not mean that i am a tobacco spittin' redneck. yes i do have a southern accent but years of theatrical training have helped me control that. :) and no we do not have tumble weeds rolling across a desert prarie. i do however love the state in which i live. we have warm winters, plus mountains, forest, plains, desert and the ocean...well just the gulf of mexico. you can drive an hour in any direction from my town and arrive in any of these places.
i do love to travel. so far i've been to mexico, new mexico, all the southern states (georia, alabama, louisiana....) and washington d.c. in a couple of years we are going to europe. it's a group of us, so we havenn't all decided where in europe, for we only have two weeks to do this in. any suggestions?? ;p we've pretty much decided that amsterdam will be on the agenda, so travel will probably commence around that area.
my username is willow because i use that name with other internet sites. i origially choose that name for what was at the time religious reasons, and now has progressed beyond a common name, but the name stuck anyway:)
my birthday is december 24, 1981. and no i do not get more gifts because my birthday is christmas eve, i get the same as everyone else :( i got jibbed
i am currently attending our community college to recieve my bachelor of science teaching certification.
thats about it for now, i hope to chat more with ya'll in the future. later :)
ps i read earlier about spelling mistakes...hehe well i can't spell very well either, so don't expect it :)

1) Hi everyone, my name's Judy and I chose nottlob because I could not think of anything else, besides, it's my e-mail address.
2)Umm...I've loved Michael for about more than a year now. It started with my interest in John Cleese after watching "A fish called wanda" and then I started watching Python, then I thought that Michael was sort of the cutest of the whole gang so I looked up on him and got interested in his travels!
3)I am 15!
4)I've been vaccinated for the travel bug. Every trip my family takes, fights fights fights, belongings stolen at Disneyland, though we did leave the bag outside...etc etc. I can't wait until I'm older to get out and go somewhere!
5) My family might go back to Taipei, Taiwan for a little vacation. It'd be really different because I only know little less then everyday chinese.
6)I'm from Vancouver, CANADA!!!! It's great. It's sort of like a little city to me, not a great big one compared to Toronto or New York. It's great. I love Stanley Park, it's beautifully shaped like an elephant's head when you get a helicopter's view. (Not that I've been in one...yet.) There's Metrotown, a big huge mall thing where you can buy everything, there are skytrains (like subways in the air on rails), and there are alot of trees. I really don't know what to say, lol. Oh, sort of like a canadian Seattle, not many piers but there's Granville Island, where street music is popular (I don't know what to call it but when people play music on the streets), a food market indoors, piers for you and food and your dog to enjoy the view of a bridge, some boats and the other side of Vancouver I think over the river. A whole buunch of seagulls live there and you can feed them bread. That's Granville Island!
7)My favorite series is definately Full Circle, though I've seen Sahara more than Full Circle. It's so long, and in the library that's more than 30mins away by car that my mom won't drive me to.

Michelle and others interested:

To register at Kelley's Palinites page,
go to

http://www.freewebs.com/palinitesconvention/

Mind the link, it doesn't usually work so that you can click and be taken to right page. Just copy and paste. :O)

Once there, go to "view palinites" to see who's already on the page and "join palinites" to get yourself on the page! The directions are pretty easy. :O)

~Mary
(nottlob, you live in Vancouver and the closest library is 30 minutes away?)
Spelling mistakes: that's 'plethora', Crystal. ;O)

Rusted-It appears that, yet again, we are posting well past our bedtimes;) I'm just putting off Monday morning for as long as I possibly can. The set that I have IS the box set from A&E, but I think it has the whole series. I referenced 'Python Speaks' when we first got it, and nothing was really missing. 'The Life of Python' is another fun one to pick up. It has one of the German Episodes on it and a tour of Pythonland by Michael. Good luck on your shopping trip!
Thanks for the info.
(and welcome to the fresh faces here!)

Thanks for the link to Kelley's page. Do you guys often get to chat in real time? With such a diverse fanbase from all over the world, I guess it would be hard to get a large group discussion happening at any given time, hey?

Cheers,
Michelle :)

Hiya Michelle, Crystal, Judy, Trixi ("corr"!! You really got 'em goin' with this one Trix!! :-}} ).

It's so interesting finding out all about you , thanks for sharing. :-}

Isn't the most interesting aspect of travelling, the people you meet along the way??? I love being able to sit here and read all about you all, where you come from, what you do, what day to day life is like in your part of the world. :-}}} At least our toilet doesn't breakdown, run out of water or smell excessively while I'm 'cyber travelling' here, unlike some other traveller we all know and love!! :-}}

Now here's a funny thing.......all this time I've been chatting with you Judy/nottlob and I thought you were a chap!! :-}} Now I see your a chapess!! :-}}
Sincere apologies Judy for my misguided mental images (you know how you sort of picture someone when you chat with them??) Please don't be offended and I'll give myself a 'clip-round-the-ear" for impertinence from you. OK??

Love

Ellen x (trying to dig herself out of that one, but only succeeding in making the hole deeper!! :-} )

(so it took me a couple days! :))

No one could hold a candle to Frank?... then why did Dean get his own show? :0) And Sammy could tap dance. They were all talented in their own way. Frank was The Voice, Sammy had been dancing and singing since he was 3, and Dean was hilarious. I love the Rat Pack in general. They were all great.

Viv- I love the Rat Pack, Gene Kelly, any old movies really, Basketball, History class, chatting online, cats(i have three), and I'm going to take a cooking class. I like a bit of everything. :)

I know this is somewhat off-topic but the Rat Pack was mentioned and I just wanted to say that I watched ROBIN AND THE 7 HOODS last night. Anyone else seen it? Quite amusing, really!

Cheers,
Michelle :)

LOVE IT!!! The original 'Ocean's 11' is pretty fantastic too. (And Sammy is most definately my favorite. He was quite the mimic too. His impersonation of Dean was spot on!).
