I'm pretty sure I introduced myself months ago, but I lost my username and had to get another one, so here I am, a second time. I won't go on a lot, but I'll simply say....hi! |

Yes, I am an idiot. I read the instructions on the read-only thread (vital stats, etc) and then blanked out and copied the info to be filled in and then posted it there! Sorry about that. *hits head on desk* |

Don't fret, Lisa! It's part of being so taken with our mighty leader, Mikey, that makes us lose our minds on occassion!
By the way, I asked Webbie to correct that and he has done so in the past. You weren't the first!!
Guess what? I live in Ellicott City. Have you lived in Baltimore for very long? I see you are a transplant!! Which part of town do you call home?? I was actually born and raised within the city limits. Moved to Woodlawn when I was 19, then Pikesville, then Ellicott City for last 20 years.
What was your former user name? If it's still on my list, I will delelte it for you. (I am the one who compiles the list on this site.)
Thanks and welcome back to PlainsTravels!!!

Thanks, Patty!
I was born in Michigan and we moved to Overlea when I was 7. Lived in quite a few apartments in the same neighborhood and now we're (parents & I) live in my grandmother's house so I get the two rooms in the attic, woo! Yay for space to put my stuff, lol! I live near Parkville and Perry Hall if that's any help. I've heard of wher eyou live, but not sure if I've actually been there. Monday we're going to pick apples up by Harford County. Always enjoy the ride (I don't drive) there so I can jam to Python tunes on my headphones, hehe!
As for my old username, I have no idea. I really need to write these things down, hehe! |

Lisa, we live on opposite sides of the city. Ellicott City is in Howard County and I live off Rt. #40, near Route #70. Rt. 70 goes to Columbia and Rt. 40 goes to Frederick. Maybe that helps you know the area. About the only time I'm in your area is going around the beltway and getting off at Whitemarsh to head north for some reason or another.
But I do know you live somewhere near THE CAKE COTTAGE, don't you?? It's the place that sells all sorts of cake decorating and candy supplies??? Not far off the beltway!!! I used to get my supplies there. It's a bit of a long drive so I haven't made candy in many years. I would love to start again though.
Hope you enjoy your new bigger room. Sounds like fun living up there.
And it's just about time for apple picking , alright. Autumn here is lovely, I think. Enjoy your day in Harford County.

Ah, now it sounds more familiar. I think my mom has been to the Cake Cottage a few times. I spend a lot of time in White Marsh, that's for sure. The mall and Best Buy, etc. Candy is fun to make but yeah, the prices are insane when you think you can just go buy it for much cheaper, lol. We make some around Christmas.
Looks like good eather for the apples, tomorrow. Gotta get up at 8am, though. Bleah!
(Hello to KT since I know she stalks my messages, lol!)
