Re: MORE introductions (for everyone) by Dagmar on 5 October 2003 9:06pm

Hello,

1)My name online is Dagmar and my real name is Dagmar too (it's Danish variant for name of Czech princess "Marketa" from middle ages who had married to Denmark. Nowdays, this name is quite popular in Czech rep.).
2)In spring in the year 2000 I have seen one of Ripping Yarns - Escape from Stalagt Luft 112B and my opinion was "It's super, wonderful and great. I look forward to nex Ripping Yarn." In the same year I have seen about 20 episodes of Flying circus.
Ever since I love Michael and all Pythons too.
3)I'm 16.
4)I love traveling but my parents have not much time for travelling (only one week in summer). I have been in Crete, Ibiza, Mallorca, Formentera (tiny Balearic island), Portugal, Tenerife, Slovakia and Hungary with them. And with school I've been in Slovakia, Germany, Belgium, France and Britain.
5) I hope I will do to Ireland in Novemver but it isn't definitive. And I will go to Britain next summer and in Germany next autumn.
6)I am from Jihlava, Czech Republic. It's a historical town in Bohemia-Moravia Highland which lies on river Jihlava. The oldest part of our town is from the end of 12th century (the church of St. John-the-Baptist and some houses near the river). In 13th century there was found silver lodes and then Jihlava became large travel center in the middle ages. The town was ravaged under Swedish occupation in Thirty Years' war(But many buildings were repaired after the war). In the end of 17th century there were builded many nice and gorgeous buildings, for example St. Ignatius Jesuit church.
Our town has one of largest squares in Middle Europe, there are many Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings (but in the era of communism there was build one modern department store which is very ugly, damned communists! :-(( ). But historical houses are now very well repaired and coloured so that look very good.
7)My favourite Michael's serie is Pole to Pole and then Hemmingway adventures.

(And I love Michael in Ripping Yarns, he's wonderful!!)

Dagmar

(And excuse my bad English, please :-)

HI!!!
Nice to know I was missed a bit kid's.
To make a very looooong story short, I'll tell it as simply as I can. Here it goes-
Moved, no DSL (cable lines for computer). Got DSL, lost laptop (to husband's job). Got laptop, lost free time (to a very large family and holidays). family, family, family (along with issues, issues, issues). BIG job interivew in Chicago, drove many hours. Several more interviews, no new job (no worries, was 2nd choice). No new job, so plant some roots(house). House hunting, house hunting, house hunting.
Here I am. Still house hunting, but had to visit Palins travels after far too long of an absence. I miss you all very much (and have enjoyed reading about the new additions here). My time here is brief, but I promise that I'll be back again once we find our new home with cable lines and laptop intact.
Many, many kisses,
trixi.
