i stuck my fingers together in my art class the other day. had to take a pair of scissors to them. it was most gory!!! this doesn't match up to the time when i stapled a map i got for homework from a geography lesson to my finger (that went right through my nail!)

I remember when I was young I somehow managed to get a staple imbedded into my finger. I panicked (as I have a tendency to do!) and I ran and hid behind the BBQ. Like that was going to improve my situation, hmmm...

How terribly fortunate that your BBQ had that staple removing feature Missy, extremely hard to find now but very popular in the late 1980s in backyards all over Melbourne.

Oh yes, and the rotating tweezers Pats :)

OUCH. It's a good thing that model is extinct, Kaz. I needed stitches the last time I used one like that.

The new model replaced that feature with a twisting reciprocating razor sharp corkscrew. Much better.

Oh yes couldn't agree more Pats, and the coffee percolating function combined with the creme egg unwrapping device makes it a must have.
