Stephen Colbert - Hero! by canaveralgumby on 2 May 2007 11:05pm

Not only does he send up the conservatives, but during an interview last night he snuck in a nice, obscure Python reference for us fellow Python geeks and no one else.

His guest (Bill Bradley - Senator from NJ) said "When you go to your kids' little league game, you don't look at the parents around you and think, they're Blue State and they're Red State..." Colbert interrupted him in character to say, "Yes I do!" Bradley asked, "How do you know who's who?"

Colbert replied, "It's tattooed on the back of their necks."

Hehe, I like him. :D

Perhaps I'm daft...where is the Python reference? Sorry for my slowness!

It's from the church police sketch.
It aired November 17, 1970
"There's another dead bishop on the landing."
"Suffragan or diocesan?"
"How should I know?"
"tatooed on the back of their neck!"

...the little voice in my head says: "GO OUTSIDE"
