Republican Candidtates Presidential Debate. by tucsonmike on 4 May 2007 6:56am

Yes, I watched it on MSNBC. I get the feeling the Republicans praise Bush for going to war in Iraq, just not the way the war has been conducted. Interesting way of looking at it.

I still cannot believe I am watching a Presidential debate a year and a half prior to the election.

Also today, Obama was given Secret Service protection. The earliest it has ever happened.

I am a Republican but I do not agree with Bush's decision to keep troops in Iraq. I think that if the Republicans this time around talk about the war or praise it, we will end up in a Democrat controlled government, no doubt about it. I think it's kinda their turn anyways.

Obama....no comment.

If the Iraqis want us to leave we should. Otherwise, I would back keeping the troops there because otherwise we will telegraph to the rest of the world we cut and run and they cannot depend on us.

In other words, President Bush got us into this quagmire. If you made a mess, your parents demanded you clean it up. However, if the Iraqis want to clean it up themselves, without us, there is our cue and out we go!

It's true, it's really time to get out. Right, let them clean up their own country now.

Obama lacks experience and energy.

If I were an American, I would be a Republican. The Democrats are a joke and quite frankly do not deserve office.
