Are'nt the Aussies quiet ? by johnnythemonkey on 2 August 2007 1:59am

Things have been quiet from the Antipodeans. Miss-m seems to have waltzed into the sunset with one of her dead stars.
Ellerd (boy or girl ? ) I can never remember, has'nt given us a recent insight into Aussie culture.
Kazz, well she is with child and can be excused anything.
Ev, has been doing some star- gazing, but little else.

Are you all moribund for winter ? Get some life about you , you lot !

Perhaps the others are hibernating, but I am in Europe.

Might even go over to Pommy Land soon to visit some relo's..

(translation: 'relo' = relative in Australia)

Some Australian names that are often adapted to end with an 'o':

Steve - Steve-o
Dave - Dave-o
John - Johnno
Ben - Benno
Shane - Shane-o
Tim - Timmo
Kevin - Kev-o

too tired to think of more right now.. zzzzzzzzzzzz........

Haven't you heard, John? Every seven years, Australia and its population ceases to exist for exactly seven hours. An entire continent, vanishing! Kind of like Brigadoon, in reverse. A weird sensation, not existing - I wish I could describe it to you all...

BTW, for future reference, I'm *ahem, deep voice* all man...
