What did you have for breakfast this morning? by mrsteabag on 24 October 2008 4:48pm

I had oatmeal with cinnamon and sugar and a slice of very lovely Cheddar (on the side, not combined). Orion had chicken, rice, and some leftover vegetables followed up with a slice of banana.

I had some rice and chicken I put together last night with ginger, garlic, celery, onion and soy. Then an apple.

Those sound good.

I had a toasted what Americans call English muffin with melty peanut butter and orange marmalade on top, fresh oranges and a banana on the side. (All organic/biologique and delicious :)

I usually have a bowl of oatmeal mixed with oat bran cereal, chopped walnuts, and raisins. On Saturdays, we go to our local farmer's market (today was the last one until December!) and buy huge scones from the baker there. So this morning I had an apple cinnamon scone. And I *always* have coffee. I looooove coffee!

I used to have dried bread, 2 slices, left out overnight to go dry. Visitors, well-meaning would throw it away for me assuming I'd forgotten. I once tolds a work colleague of this, saying I had a twisted palate. She was very synpathetic, thinking this was a real physical ailment.

I've gone normal: 2 Weetabix, half-fat milk, and coffee (instant).

Your other alternatives sound yummy.
