There's a dead bird lying on the front doormat courtesy of my cats:( I can't move it as I can't touch dead things and Ray's at work:(

My tip is to use a brush and dustpan. If you can't bear to even use that, try a long handled floor brush and a dustpan.

If not could you sort of pick up the door mat and take it wherever you dispose of such things (for me it is ove the fence into the field next door).

Hope this helps.

;)

Or use a shovel, if you've got one.

I'll tell you what's wrong with it, mate. It's dead.
You cats should get a reward. They did it for you.
Just follow the other suggestions. Be brave Karen!;-)

I'd say push it (with the long-handked floor brush) under the mat so you don't have to look at it, but cats are pretty smart. The kitty might want to save energy and pull it out from under the mat to give it to you again.

In college, one of my cats brought s big dead bird right up in my (off-campus) room. She was petite, it was a huge haul. But she looked quite proud, like "bringing home the bacon."

I like to clean it up the very least when they've eaten most of it. I won't go into details, but there are some stories :)

I love that mrsthing: "cats go 'meow' not 'ding-a-ling." I did LOL! And then the 'piss' part... beautiful!
