Ivy's Final Party by Lounge Trekker on 14 November 2008 6:16am

This weekend we must attend Ivy's Final Party. The party we had in her honour when she could join us, a few months ago, was excellent. She was 95 years old.

The world lost a beautiful person but all of us who loved her gained an angel.

Have a great time at the 'party' Pete. I'm sure she'd be honoured to know that you guys are celebrating her long life.

Thanks my friends. Ivy was indeed a splendid person. Her suffering was lengthy and everything that could be done for her, was done by the best professionals in the medical system.

She paid a dear price so we could all learn. I miss her already.

*Much, Much Love to Sweet Ivy!*

I am sorry for your loss, Pete.

And sorry to hear of her suffering. We have "death with dignity" here in Oregon: physician assisted ending of life for those who qualify and choose it. I believe it is a very civilized option.

The brightest angels shine even more beautifully through their suffering and compassion.

I'm so sorry, Pete. But how wonderful that a good person lasted 95 years!
