Where I've been by RichB on 6 May 2003 10:05pm

Thanks to Lyn for looking out for me and noticing that I haven't posted too much recently. My home PC does have a problem at the moment but I'm still logging on almost every day at work, when I'm not working away of course.

The sad thing is, as per the 'I give up' thread by Louise is that I haven't found many threads I wanted to reply to. I found of late that the threads have become very samey and I got a little bored.

It's obviously very difficult to keep things going when nothing Michael related is happening and this will probably get worse now he's starting the new journey. It is nice though, to see some new people getting their first dose of Michael via the repeats.

I do read all of the threads but don't always reply. I'm still a dedicated Palinite and won't be deterred that easily, so don't worry Lyn I'm still around even if my name doesn't appear. I hope the birthday chat went well if you had one and I look forward to chatting soon.

think I ought to change my user name to mother hen!! ROFL

know what you mean about a dry spell! and with the chatterbox not working so well, it doesnt give anyone much incentive to post.

Any ideas as to where Mp is going in Central Asia, Rich? and what about a tile for the new series - 'glad to be back' !!??

birthday chat seemed to go on all day!

do join us Rich - we have a great time.

I would have joined the chat but read about it the day after unfortunately, I will look out for the next one. The TV Times talks of Michael climbing mountains and things, perhaps an amusing title would be 'Palin at his Peak' or 'Palins Highs and Lows' who knows. It's almost worse knowing about the journey before he goes because we now have such a long wait until the book and series. Don't forget the booksignings aswell (not conventions).

We only have to wait until 2004 not long now!!

Sorry Lyn there was no interview, just a little piece explaining the new series. I think it was last weeks edition or perhaps the one before I can't remember. I don't have it you see, my mum does. I must apologise for inappropriate use of the C word, rap over the knuckles for me. See you in the chat room (if you're there obviously).

..well it certainly is quiet on the palinfront currently! did see a nice birthday write-up in the times of london on the proper day. michael is quoted as claiming to not being a "clever dick"...that should be a topic all its own.

Re: Where I've been by Diamond on 9 May 2003 1:37am

could be 'clever michael' though!!

Re: Where I've been by macauley on 9 May 2003 9:12am
