The husband is so lovely and thoughtful! He took me to Newark, NJ instead of Bruges, Paris and London. We will be in London on Saturday so if there are any pals from Palinstravels around, Let myself and Kevin know and we'll buy ye a pint!
Here's to waffles, chocoate, champagne and fog!

Brussels and Bruges are lovely. Had three pieces if chocolate two French fries, there is a museum here for the French fries! Allegedly they first hit the world stage here in Bruges. We also went to the top of the bell tower, sang On Raglan Road in honor of Brendan Gleason's noble leap from the top.

Weather was lovely, rained heavily mid afternoon and now is very pleasant again.

We catch the train back to Brussels tomorrow and then go to Paris.

Hope you continue to have a great trip Loretto.
If you feel like flying the one hour from London to Glasgow, give me a buzz and I'll buy you and the big fella a pint.....and give him some dress tips. ;)

Hi ya jtm and jazz I have to do this quickly as am on eurostar to London and service cuts in and out so lots of spelling errors! Paris was lovely and despite what they say about the French and the Americans they liked big Mick !! We ate the most gastronomically interesting meal last night in a restaurant inthe Latin quarter, la truffirre I think it was called, just a hint as to how interesting, peas in sorbet was my vegetable last night!! Willwrite more later.

JTM, we did consider doing a train ride up to Glasgow so if I can talk the big fella into it I will post the day here! Would love to meet Meg and yourself in Glasgow so thanks for the invite.

Jazz, I will thank you here for the kind comment about interview with Start Loving in DC xxxx

London town next pals!!!! Loving this travelling by train!!! Lots of pictures when I get back to the USA. Will post more later!!!!!!

Kazzz the jazz in last post was your name but either my chubby fingers or spell check on Kevin's iPhone changed it!! More than likely it was sausage finger syndrome!

Weather in London is glorious today so we took the tube from Knightsbridge to covent garden and went on an adventure to 34 Tavistock street. The woman in Treadwell bookstore must think I am an idiot as I asked her if she sold Palin's recent diaries, but I pronounce 'Palin' with the Gaelic broad 'a' embarrassed poor Kevin who instantly corrected me! I love that area in covent garden. We walked from there to harrods and back to the berkley. Just a glorious day for sight seeing!!!!!
