A little tale from Estonia's picturesque capital, Tallinn.

Enjoy....

Kris, I'm glad that you enjoyed your travels but your tale is hardly a noble one.
You scrounged, conned and stole from others to fund your escapade. Did work ever cross your mind ?

I read some of the titles of your blog Kris, and was turned off immediately. But I am certain you will get an audience that appreciates your writing, not me though.

Johnny, I didn't steal, and I didn't con any person. I may have told a few porkies to ticket inspectors and so on, but took no advantage of any individual. The whole point of the challenge was to get through all of the capitals by any means. Working wouldn't have been any good as I wasn't allowed to handle any money or wages.

Anyway... Thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated.

Isn't this stealing ?

"I made my way down the corridor to the door that read ‘salle de bain’ and that’s exactly what it was: a room with a bathtub in. In the corner was a case of shelves stacked up with clean towels. I stuffed two into my trouser legs and ran back to my room without being seen by the cleaner. I packed them into my bags and left, handing the key to the lady from the night before on my way out."

That was you staying in a small hotel near Lyon, which some kind person paid by credit card to avoid you having to sleep rough.
Your gratitude ? You slagged the place off, posted pics about it's garish decor, then stole their towels !

So this was all for Cancer Research ? What did you actually do for charity apart from ask people to donate ?

You managed to get yourself some publicity in the media. I hope the same media now expose you for what you are.

For once I agree with you, Johnny.

I know a charlatan when I see one Anne. I hope that Webbie deletes this man's attempts to hijack Michael's site to publicise his 'book'.

Agree also...that's horrible.

You can't please all the people all the time. It seems all those people are members of this forum.

Kris, at least you have the balls to respond to criticism.
No matter how you achieved your travels, you now have far more experience than I do at twice your age.

I just wish that you hadn't claimed it was for cancer research. I'm sitting here smoking a ciggie atm. Shall I ask my friends to donate to cancer research for each fag I smoke tonight ?

Remember how you posted about sharing a joint in the same blog that I quoted earlier ?
