North Wales by DonGeronimo on 11 July 2011 1:19pm

I'm going to North Wales (Snowdonia and coast) in August. Has anyone got tips and tricks? Is the water at the coast warm enough to swim in it in August? What is the best way to get around (besides walking)? We walk lightely packed and have 1 week. What are the must-sees?

I was there a long time ago and stayed at the Park Hall Hotel near Conway and had a great time, but its probably changed with new owners etc. Conway castle is worth a visit. Also The Great Orme, where there's a bronze age copper mine. Also understand Llandudno is interesting-see recent Michael Portillo documentry-British Railway Journeys
