Found 4 of these on page 100 and something and perhaps I should have picked one of the three with replies for a translation. What language is this? My guess is Scandinavian or Latin.

It's from one of Tolkien's (fictional?) languages. Elvish perhaps.

Yeah, that's from Tolkien. But he's just quoting the book. And he's mixing up the languages. "Elen síla lúmenn' omentielvo" is Quenya, or High Elven, while "Mae govannen" (well come) is Sindarin, a totally different Elvish language.
