10 Week Challenge by Loretto on 6 May 2013 2:10pm

Hi folks. Today sees the one year anniversary of my commencement of the 100 day challenge as posted by ev I think.

I went gluten and lactose free for 100 days and kept a blog about it. Today I am 99% gluten and lactose free, when we go out for dinner I allow myself to cheat.

I teach two Pilates mat classes per week as well as teaching reformer, barrel and chair four times a week. Three of my clients and two friends have asked me to a video blog of my favorite moves which would culminate in a full hour long mat class at the end of ten weeks.

So here is my 10 week Pilates Mat challenge if you would like to give it a try.

So it was you!! Yes, we went to Princeton this time last year and I started blogging about the 100 day gluten free challenge. Where did that time go?

Actually it was April 24th last year!

Jimminy cricket.. maybe it's time for a new challenge.. I'd like to do it differently this time, though.. it needs to be obtuse, substantial and original, wacko even.. it needs to be inspiration falling from the sky onto a deserted planet, and transforming it into a paradise..

Your videos are good, Loretto! You've helped inspire me.

I like combos.. so for example, it might involve not only exercise, but also listening to the complete works of (*insert artist name here*) at the same time, or learning a language, while keeping a strict diet of non-processed food..

Or how about the 1000-day challenge of the marathon monks in Japan.. only 46 men have completed it since 1585:

Well the music thing is out of the question, I play by ear, can't read music. And running 30 KM per day for 100 days...how far is that in miles? 18 miles! Oh sweet mother of god, not happening. I speed walk 6, that's enough, and I do it 6 days a week, so I am not running 18 miles per day for 100 days.

How about a random act of kindness one per day for 100 days?
