Meeting another palinite by Diamond on 22 June 2004 4:26pm

well some time ago i was at a Michael booksigning in London (think it was 2002)and rather than join the very long queue waited in front of the desk and chair to get a good view of the aforesaid MP and take photos - well another palinite with camera stood next to me for the two hours we were there, we swapped e mail addy and have been in touch ever since, also we met up at the sahara paperback signing last dec - when i went to london to meet sophie and thomas!

Wendy Soo is originally from NZ but is living in the UK and was studying at the time to be a professional photographer - I must admit that i bought one or two copies of her michael photos and got them signed to give to palinite friends last xmas - they were soooooo good!

Now Wendy had set up a website of her photos and has one or two michael photos in the celebrity section - where else would MP be??? so I am going to post the link to her inaugural web page for you to have a nose - wendy does have her first exhibition at London CIty Airport in July and AUgust - i have been invited to go meet her and go to the exhibition with her - nice one. Its amazing what can come out of going to a Michael Palin booksigning - Wendy and I are good friends and will meet up and chat at the Himalaya signings too - i can recommend anyone going to a bookstore in the UK in october you never know who you might bump into and what may come of it!!

Quote from Wendy ""I now have a website, log onto http://www.wsmphotograghy.co.uk , but I must warn, in my haste, I misspelt photography and put a g in place of the 2nd p. Sort of how I spell yaght(yacht) really. There are a couple of Michael Palin pictures on there, nothing spectacular tho. I'm trying not to tell too many people about because of my stupid mistake. It'll get changed eventually or when I can afford to buy a new website, then I'll keep it simple with just my name.""

just thought as it was michael related it was ok to let you know about it!!
