Don't Let It Getcha Down... by notquitenglish on 20 July 2004 11:20pm

I'm referring to publishers here. Maybe it should be "don't let *them* getcha down." Nah. "It" 'll work.

Here I go submitting to fifty publishers again.... my newest (not actually finished yet, but will be by the time I hear back from any of them.) And why does that song "I'll Say A Little Prayer For You" keep running through my head?

I *did* know you were going to ask that. I can sense these things.

"Hi, I'm a writer."
"What do you write?"
Never fails.
Actually I am working on a palindromic haiku, a new poetry form of fiendish difficulty. I've only been working on it for seven years, and already I only have the final five syllables to complete.
:)
