How's your day been? by bandgeek512 on 14 November 2005 12:23am

I don't know if there's a thread about this or not. I don't feel like rummaging through one hundred and thirteen pages looking for something along the lines of this, hence my posting a new one. Languor, perhaps; I call it conservation of energy on my behalf. Call it what you willÖ

I always feel better if I am able to speak about my day and go on about whatís happened during it. I find it significantly reliving to be able to talk about it to others. Itís also nice to hear about how people are around the world. Itís quite interesting.

I hereby ask the inquiry for which this thread was madeÖ

How has your day been thus far?

Well, thank you for asking.

My day was good. I went to the bookstore and FINALLY got a Michael Palin book. I feel like I'm not a huge fan, (even though I am, I just don't have the books to show it..=P) but now at least I have ONE of his books!

How was your day?

Icky.

That's the best word I can find to describe it.

I've been getting over one of those stomach flus that have been going around the kindergarten class that I work in during my teacher's aide hour during school. But, the thing of it is, when I get ill with this sort of thing, I don't necessarily vomit. I hardly ever. No, what goes on is I feel horrid for about a week or so--stomach aches, migraines, the general yucky feeling--and that's about it. I am able to go to school and everything, but I feel absolutely terrible whilst there.

Today I began getting over it, but I still feel ill.

But, I'm content because, like you, I am in the process of getting my first Michael Palin book. I've read bits on here and seen about every picture provided here; I just haven't had funds with which to buy one. I've gotten enough money to buy Around the World in 80 Days, for which I am esctatic about.

Anybody else? :-)

Aww. I hope you get over your ickyness soon. I myself have had a nagging cold/ear ache for a week..-__-

Ahh! I wanted to buy Around the World in 80 Days, but they didn't have it at the bookstore..Argh.

I read it already though. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. =)

I'm getting it from Amazon.com. It's out of print, so I've just got to buy it over the internet.

Do you get earaches often? I get them much too often. I almost had to get tubes put in my ears earlier this year because I would keep getting ear infections that would make my eardrums rupture. I was partially deaf for two months.

My day was terrific. I took a seven mile hike in Sabino Canyon. I read the paper and shortly I am going to work on my novel in a month.
It has been a stellar day. 83 degrees Fahrenheit in Tucson, a breeze, clear blue skies, a visible full moon and a week and a half before Thanksgiving.

Now I feel bad. For the folks who had bad days, may tomorrow be a lot nicer. I hope I was able to spread some cheer.

speaking of Eric Idle, he was on an award show for Steve Martin on Public Television last night. He sang part of "Always Look On the Bright Side of Life".

That was greattt. =)
