The Road to Detroit by George on 22 January 2006 4:19pm

Actually, this is about the final eliminations for the this years's Superbowl being played in Detroit. Today, we've got Carolina v. Seattle in one game and Denver v. Pittisburgh in the other. The winner's play each other for football immortality, while the losers go home, broken and forgotten. Who'll it be this year?

The Rolling Stones will be playing at halftime. Will anybody strip naked, again, and run around on the field?

George,
Seattle vs. Denver. The Stones may not be on stage long enough for it to matter. By the time they toddle up there LOL! No no please don't strip Mick, don't do it LOL!

George, send me an email, so I can let you no details bout San Antonio trip.

Mike

Well the Steelers won big and the Seahawks were winning.

Steelers vs. Seahawks. Let's see what happens.

I believe the Steelers are favorites by a few points. Baltimoreans, by and large despise the Steelers, myself included. The coach is no prize either.Let's go Seahawks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm neutral on this one. Don't know much about the Seahawks and have no feelings either way about the Steelers.

Peri, your enemies are my enemies. Go, Seahawks!

I won't be sorry with either outcome. The Seahawks have never been to the Super Bowl, so they're the underdogs I would root for. But, I love Jerome Bettis! We call our cocker spaniel The Bus, 'cause that's how she plays, she runs us over!

The pre-match build-up and the players' entrance to the pitch I find hilarious, so I'll be watching that. The game itself I'll give a generous wide berth.

Re: The Road to Detroit by George on 26 January 2006 12:17am

Yea, the build-up is usually better than the actual game. I mean the reporters ask the most irrelevant questions. And, silly facts will come out. Like, one of the players has a Chinese grandfather or one of the assistant coaches is dyslectic.
