WARNING! by Sophie-Louise on 20 February 2006 7:19pm

i was talking to purple on msn and we came to the following conclusion after quitting my geography degree. IT'S BORING. all geography text books should have the following printed on the inside:

WARNING: GEOGRAPHY IS AN EXTREMELY BORING SUBJECT. TAKING THIS SUBJECT MAY CAUSE THE FOLLOWING SIDE EFFECTS.

pill popping, slashing of wrists, hangings, jumping of various high buildings and in severe cases: DEATH.

If you experience any of the above side effects while taking geography please contact your personal tutor immediately.

....

i know i'm random but you love it!

lol.

i did geography for a-level and i hated it. i only did for the whole two years because it was either this or french with the devil in disguise (she really was - she told me i'm going to fail my a-levels and work in safeway for all my life).

geography is horrible, the only good thing is the field trips, although looking at soil in the rain is not much fun.

listen to sophie's warning!!! geography is a death wish.

I took geography in high school. And I didn't think it was too bad, until the teacher had the class memorise cow breeds. Who cares what the difference between a Hereford and a Brahman is? And how is this related to geography?

I failed geography "O" level. My best essay was on dairy farming but it was disqualified. Nerves got the better of me and all throughout the essay, I referred to the farmer milking his sheep!!!!!! I enjoyed physical geography/geology but not the rest of the subject. Linz : )

Cows are related to geography in a way - the places each breed originates from! lol

I wanted to do history but my folks made me do geography 'O' level-because it may prove useful!Years later,i read history with the Open University. Now,that is useful-i understand much more about the places i visit-and even without geography,i still find my way round!
