Skill Sets to Bring to Get Together. by tucsonmike on 9 April 2006 7:34am

I will start with me.
Research skills. Seventeen years in the library world.
Speaking skills: Toastmasters and my growing speaking and coaching work.
Writing: The myriad writing I am doing.

Leadership style: Let the people use their skills. This is how I run my Toastmasters club presidency. I am fortunate. My officer corps (especially my number two) are so good, I can just let them do their jobs.

Hope this helps to kick this off.

None! But I will bring together all the threads relating to the get together.

I have done the first 10 pages of Blathering on threads.

Well thank you Ken for bringing all those threads together. That is helpful. Wish there were some way to combine them into one.

OK Helen, you can worry and make the chicken salad.. You need to think of things to worry about first.

I might have some untapped skills of which I am unaware. hahahaha. But for something like this, I can't think of anything worth listing. But here it goes.

I'm good at needlework of all sorts except crocheting. (lol)

I am a willing emailer but waste time correcting my typing errors.

I know my medical technology(33 1/2 yrs. in a hospital lab)

I am creative. Have started a book with a friend--- fiction , light mystery, beach reading.

Often good at creating themes and trying to carry them out.

Crafty (arts-wise)

Love photography.

Collect worldwide postage stamps since I was 5 yrs old (54 years).

I'm a good follower but won't be taken advantage of. (lol)

I love to decorate, and garden.

I am willing to participate.

I've been to Scotland where I'd love to meet (and many other places and love traveling.)

I am good at and faithful in writing letters and corresponding in general, but am not a public speaker.

See what I mean? hahahahaha Maybe there's more than this. So just ask me!

Patty~

OK Patty, you can be the chief gardner and help write about the experience.

You can start off by helping to find places, helping to write and send off the emails as well as lead the crafts.

Anne have you caught Ahren yet?
