Silly stuff I've done with Palinites by kazzzz on 9 August 2006 8:58am

Since this is a bit of a current topic, Who's met anyone from this site and wot silly stuff didya do?

Miss M... She and I took 6 creme eggs out for the day... we even took 'em on a riverboat cruise! We photographed them everywhere, including making a street performer pose with one AND a very confused boat driver.

Risible Phyll...We went to a cheese shop and harassed the poor shopowner asking if he "sold cheese"! Haahaa!!!
We also took a wind up nun to bingo and drowned her in a glass of rum. As you do.

Sophie Lou (with Thomas and Jake too)...We took a basketful of creme eggs on the London Eye at twilight. Sooo romantic!

Fattcslim (aka Tony)...we went to Sheffield to visit an M and M shop in a sportscar.

Haven't met Patty but we had an ace 3 way chat on the phone with her and Phyll. And exchanged all sorts of weird stuff via mail :)

Anyone else wanna meet me? Nah...thought not!

Same here. I knew you were cool when you named Michael's heart as what you would steal, and although I myself am not a creme egg girl, I am a huge fan of Cadbury and other European confectionery. There's a great shop I go to a few times a year, as it's two hours away from me, that specializes in importing it and I splurge on four or five new things each time. All hail the Nestle Double Berry! Who knew black currants and red raspberries could be so good in white chocolate? PS-I'll be glad to share our family's frozen creme egg stash. :)

Ooh Nestle Double Berry????? Sounds rather nice.....I don't think we have that in Australia yet. I hate living in this gourmetically challenged country.

OK Mike, will you be the one wearing a cactus wren?? ;)

It's fantastic, but I was rather upset when on my most recent trip I discovered that they were no longer there. But I did run across a bizarre but yummy item called a Nestle Quality Street truffle, which was nearly as big as my fist. Milk chocolate with tiny pieces of orange hard candy throughout. Ah, since you live Down Under, I assume you've heard of the Violet Crumble? I haven't tried them yet but they sound good judging by the description on amazon.com, where you can buy them by the five-pack. I feel your pain, the States aren't much better. Why can't our McDonalds locations sell Cadbury Dairy Milk McFlurries?!

Well I gotta say that althought I'm the creme egg's biggest fan I do love orange choc! It's deffo not Terry's it's mine!!
You've heard of Violet Crumbles then? they're lovely. Would you like me to send you some? I sent peripatty some Oz chocs, they actually made it thru customs lol. Phyll and I have also sent many confectionery parcels over the years, there's nothing like getting overseas confectionery, it's loadsa fun :)

Kazzzz, that would rock since it looks as if I won't be hitting the candy store for a while. My email's in the "Calling all Palinites" thread under Welcomes and Introductions, drop me one and I'll pass you my mailing address. Thanks bunches, you're a dear. :)

Wont wear a cactus wren. I will think of something appropriate for the occasion, Ma'am.

Well, Tony (UK) and I (USA) watched baseballs games while we were in the chat room and by email. He had it on his Tv and so did I. it was so much fun. Talking about the game and watching the players ans spectators. It was the exact same station and camera angles! HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Phyll and I went to an exotic animal rescue place and petted a leopard and played with lemurs and some other primates. It was awesome. She was pooped on and I was sprayed by a Bengal tiger. LOL. We rode an inflatable Shamu in a swimming pool too. We were going to photogrpah cream eggs on a swamp tour, in the pool and other places, but the thing melted! It was much too messy.

Yeah, the 3-way phone conversation was so much fun. And how about the piano concert your girls did for me on the computer, Kaz? That was fun too. You sat there talking to yourself and I listened , then typed answers since I didn't have a microphone! HAHAHAHAHA You felt so silly talking to a computer screen. lol

Phyll's youngest son wore her bathing suit on a dare I gave him. It was hilarious. And don't forget the maid outfit Tony sent to Pete (Phyll's hubby)! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. He wore it and sent us photos. I almost choked laughing at it!

How about Tony as a beached whale in the tub and his refrigerator and toenail pics? OMG, Maybe I'll not explain that!

I'll have to think about more things we did.
