The Turkic World. by tucsonmike on 18 February 2007 6:37am

I especially have Anne and Geraldine in mind with this one. This was a book by a British journalist in Istanbul. I remember the book being reviewed by the Economist. The author is Hugh Pope and the title is Sons of the Conquerors, The Rise of the Turkic World.

He covers the Turkic world from the Balkans to China. Very useful interesting explanation.

You're adding books to my "must read" list faster than I can read them, Mike.
