A Big Thank You, Sally, for organising Project Palin. A difficult task. It can't be helped that the postal service let us down. |

Well, I think it's a shame that Sally has left the site. I don't feel like I was let down. I want to thank her for all the work she did, especially hand delivering the card...even if she won't get this message. She had a massive amount of organizing to do and if she dropped the ball a bit, it's understandable. |

Certain people might also like to recall that Sally was just out of hospital and recovering from surgery, having chemotherapy when the project was taking place and was also in rehab. Something to think about perhaps. |

I think Michael's message says it all.
Take a bow Sally, for a great idea successfully accomplished.
I did'nt ask to be part of PP, as there were already quite a few people from the UK including ( I think ) one from Scotland asking to take part.
I think the fact that the card went round the globe was more fitting, rather than criss-crossing the UK ( or any other one location ).
I hope that the postmortem can now be closed, as the proof of the pudding, so to speak, was in Michael's pleasure at receiving it.
Come back into the fold Sally. I never got the chance to wind you up. ;) |

Having Joined faaaar toooo late on this thread (and forum) would it be too simple, as it is for `Palins Travels`, to suggest, if it has not already been done before, a meeting of members in a suitable location, somewhere you would have to TRAVEL..and invite Michael to attend and say Hi? |

Hey Wheelrim. We are planning one tentatively for Scotland, this time next year. |
