Sorry - I ate it years ago !!

;)

Lat night I tried the new Walkers Chilli and Chocolate crisps (the husband bought me a packet yesterday to try because he knew I'd like them!). I have to say I DO quite like them! He had one and thought it was awful.

Mind you he hasn't forgiven me yet for not sending in HIS flavour inventions, two of which were roast beef and horseradish, and roast pork and apple (though we don't personally like apple with it!!)!! I was going to suggest salad cream crisps, as I love drizzling salad cream over ready salted crisps! Why not save time and have the salad cream ALREADY THERE!! Oh well, next time I'll get my act together maybe!

:)

Walkers Chilli and Chocolate crisps??
YOU are soooo lucky! All we have here are plain boring flavours, nothing good like that:(

These are flavours that people have sent in, there are 6, and people vote for the winner.

The flavours are: Cajun Squirrel; Builders Breakfast; Chilli and Chocolate; Crispy Duck & Hoisin; Fish & Chips; Onion Bhaji.

Out of these, the one I will defo NOT be sampling is the Cajun Squirrel, even though I know deep down that they have not been anywhere NEAR a real squirrel, it just puts me off (I didn't try hedgehog crisps years ago either!!).

Here is the site:

Chilli and Chocolate? Can't imagine it! Just noticed that they do a Chilli and Lemon. You can't beat the good old Ready Salted in my opinion!

Double post for some reason !!

Sorry!!

So - I have just watched the last episode (of 5) and spent most of it in tears. I mean literally sobbing with tears running down my cheeks.

The reason? He was going to kill his two pigs (Doris and (I think) Janet).

'Luckily', as he was going to spit-roast Doris at a party for all his friends and then share Janey between his helpers, by law he had to take them to an abattoir - but that didn't make it any less sad.

And seeing poor Doris on the spit was awful (more tears!!)!

Honestly I have got worse!!!

BUT the husband and I agree that if we were stranded on a desert island and had animals like that we couldn't kill them - we would become veggies!

:(

But all in all the series was excellent. I spent 3 of the 5 episodes thinking his dog was called Roots though! It was only when my husband and I were discussing the programme and I said 'Roots that he said actually the dog's called Reuben - REUBS for short ! HAHAHA! Really sounds like Roots though - I thought he had called him after the TV series/book!!!

:)
