Ok, it was a bad performance by England. Although the fact the team are totally hyped by the media does not help. As mentioned earlier on this subject, the same media that declared 'This is the best England team ever' have now retracted into their corners and are spitting venom. Beckham is an obvious target, as is the Ref. Goal or no goal, these things happen in football, and if England were a great side, we would not have been defending so deep for so long, and would not have desperately been looking for a goal.A great side does the job in 90 minutes. Even when we were given the chance to win on penelaties, we again showed are weakness. We were outsmarted by a technically more skilled team, like against brazil in the World Cup, we went out with a whimper rather than a bang. Eriksson was outsmarted again by Scolari, who, guess what? was Brazil's manager in 2002 when we were equally out played. England Suck? No, our technique sucks. Taxi for Eriksson..

The English media should take note of this quote I heard :"DON'T BURN THOSE TODAY, WHO YOU WORSHIPPED YESTERDAY"..
Also look how Francesco Totti acted, getting banned for gobbing into another players face, now he deserves to be criticised big time.
** Talking about Scotland, it's a shame they cannot make it into a major tournament these days, they've got great fans, but watching Scotland at the moment will also give you great pain.
Role on 2006....without Eriksson hopefully and his 4 million quid salary..

Croatia should have beaten the Swiss at the beginning of the Tournament, they may have had a better chance to qualify for the next round.
Positive stuff about England= Most national coaches would kill to have the young talent we have coming through. Look at France, they now look like a bunch of OAP's. This tournament has really levelled the playing field (pardon the pun) when it comes to national teams.
** Portugal to win the Tournament ***

Maybe Croatia where better when they played under' Yugoslavia' (famous for that funny little Yugo car)..I was chatting to a Serbian bloke who worked at the hotel I was staying at in Kos a couple of weeks ago. He was dissapointed that Serbia did not make the Tournament...
Better luck in 2006 for Croatia...(:

Maybe, I don't know. It was before my time.
Yugo car is still very famous. You can see it everywhere here in Croatia. In all ex yugoslavian countrys.
Better luck for Croatia, Serbia and England in 2006 :)))!!!
