My all-time Favourite simpsons quote, from Treehouse of Horror No.3 :

Owner: Take this object, but beware, it carries a terrible curse.
Homer: (worried) Ooooh, that's bad..
Owner: But it comes with a free Frogurt!
Homer: (relieved) That's good!
Owner: The Frogurt is also cursed.
Homer: (worried) That's bad..
Owner: But you get your choice of topping!
Homer: (relieved') That's good!
Owner: The toppings contains Potassium Benzoate.
Homer: (stares blankly)
Owner: That's bad.

Good idea for a topic, but in some cases we should give a little context for our quotes, for the uninitiated. Sorry if I didn't get this quote quite right. I hope I don't ruin it.

Marge (on Thursday evening): Homer, the plant called. They said that if you don't come in tomorrow, don't bother coming in on Monday.

Homer: Woohoo! Four-day weekend!

Argh, there was a really brilliant quote that made me laugh a lot but I can't properly remember it. It was something to do with religion, in which Apu's religion was described as "miscellaneous". Does anyone know the proper quote?

this is my fave quote from 'the last temtation of homer" just after he reverses in to a fish farm:

Fish: Homer loves Mindy! Homer loves Mindy!
Carl: Hey Homer, you're hallucinating again.
Lenny: Not a good sign.

A couple of oldies:

Homer: It takes two people to lie; one to lie and one to listen.
Marge: What on earth does that mean?

Sherri (or Terri, I can't remember): I'm so hungry I could eat at Arby's.
[For those of you who don't know what Arby's is, it's a fast food place that serves roast beef burgers - ewww!]

Lionel Hutz: Well, he's kind of had it in for me ever since I accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly," and replace "dog" with "son."

and..

Homer: With $10,000 we could be millionaires! We could buy all kinds of useful things, like love!

futuretraveller, is it this one?...

Homer: No offense Apu, but when they're handing out religions you must be out taking a whizz.
Apu: Mr. Simpson, pay for your purchases and get out...and come again.

..........

Homer: Old people don't need companionship. They need to be isolated and studied so it can be determined what nutrients they have that might be extracted for our personal use.

homer dials the telephone when he has gained 70 lbs in order to stay off work due to obesity...

phone: "the fingers you have used to diall are too fat. If you would like to request a dialling wand please mash the numbers with your palm... now."
