Both My Teams are Having Difficulties. by tucsonmike on 15 October 2007 9:07pm

I am supposed to be editing, but, but there is baseball to watch. The Sox/Indians are on, then the Diamondbacks and Rockies. I watched the D'Backs lose last night.
If the D'Backs make the series, I want tickets (Like I can afford them).

Try being a Mets AND a Dolphins fan.

That's gotta hurt, Cori!

Sorry about the Diamondbacks, Mike. Better luck next year.

I grew up near Boston, so it was a big deal for me when they won the WS 3 years ago. The papers all had stories--not about the games, but about the strange place the fans found themselves in. What would we do if they won? Half of the lure of being a Red Sox fan was the torture of watching them get so close and then lose.

I've adjusted. ;-)

I understand, Mrsthing, I am married to a Bostonian. That is why I joined the Red Sox Nation LOL!

Get with the programme Mikey, you ALWAYS forget to report wot the Purple Sox are up to!

Kaz, if I find a team called Purple Sox, can I send you the link?;-) My team is the RED SOX and their colors are dark blue, red and white.

Yee-haw! The Red Sox come from behind to take the AL pennant! And on to the World Series.

I'm gonna be really embarrassed if they lose the title to the Diamondbacks--no offense meant to their fans.

Sorry Mrsthing, but the Sox are playing the Colorado Rockies, who wiped the D'Backs out in four straight.

If the Rockies win, I will have to live with it. The Rockies have their Spring Training in Tucson and I know a Rockies Minor League Manager.

I will have fun on Wed., though. I am missing the end of Game One for my Toastmasters meeting. I am Table Topics Master, my friend Diane, (who is an Indians fan) is Toastmaster for the evening. Do I have a question for HER! LOL!

Sorry Mike, but I developed a love of the Dodgers whilst I was in LA earlier this year. Got to see them play (and lose) against the Mets.
Baseball is the only US sport I understand and like. I got totally hooked and can't wait to see them again. I'll be planning my next trip to the States to coincide with a couple of their games.
