Surely your not serious, Kazzzz. I hope they're group fails miserably. I can't believe someone would go too that much trouble.

I'm totally serious, this group exists and is full of people who HATE grammatical blunders. It's really funny! One person actually does post about people who get "there, their and they're" mixed up...LOL!!

LOL! This is the Internet, Ellerd. I am not surprised someone went to all the trouble.

Perhaps I should join as such blunders wind me up terribly, esp apostrophe errors !!!!

Ellard, it was noticed, but I didn't want to be the panderer to the obvious joke... ;-)

Me two, Bunny. lol.

No, seriously, it makes me cringe when people don't even know their own language or are too lazy to use it correctly. I might make a few errors along the way, because I don't profess to being perfect, but it doesn't sit well with me if I see text peppered with obvious elementary mistakes.

Also, one does usually get judged by their speech and appearance, regardless of whether it is politically correct or not. It appears when so many people make so many errors it must mean people aren't willing to go the extra mile. Is it a lack of self respect? I fail to believe that teachers are failing this badly at teaching their students what is correct and what isn't, and at the same time, I fail to believe that students don't know better. I'm not sure what all the errors indicate--- rebellion, laziness, a lack of respect for the reader, a lack of discipline being overlooked by teachers (I hope not!) or something else completely. Maybe some of the culprits could cough up the answer. lol

(I'm not referring to the abbreviated language of the cyber world.)
