*If you could go back in time and meet anyone... who?* by MMMmmm... on 29 January 2008 8:52am

There are more, but the ones who stand out that I can think of right now:

Shakespeare, Annie Oakley, Dostoyevsky, St. Francis of Assisi, Ghandi, Benjamin Franklin, Maybe Tolstoy depending on his mood..., Monet, Tchaikovsky, Leonardo Da Vinci, Michaelangelo, Botticelli, JFK, MLK, Bobby Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, lets add Jesus, Buddha, and Confucius, John Lennon, Einstein, Socrates, maybe Willam Blake or William James (I get them mixed up sometimes), Jaco Pastorius and there are more I'm sure, but that's all for now!

Yes! Princess Diana!
Yes! Freddie Mercury! I was in Amsterdam staying with some gay male friends when we heard the news - we were all so devastated - such a tragic loss. I saw the Aids quilt in D.C. at one point, and was thoroughly depressed for three days afterwards...

Helen of Troy and Cleopatra

[And with Annie Oakley - she just sounds like she was so incredibly cool - it would have been fun to target shoot with her! Girls with guns!]

defo Jim Morrison.

Also Judge Jeffries (but not from the point of view of an accused!!) - he was quite the ladies man in his younger days).

I can't remember Kazzzz - I just remember that I named an exam 'mascot' (a small gorilla as it happens, not very flattering) after him at Uni.

Also the Duke of Monmouth (as in 'Monmouth Rebellion'). When researching Judge Jeffries for the end of my degree studies, I saw his picture(D of M) and sort of connected. It was strange - as if I knew him!!

Mary Queen of Scots - I have always felt an affinity with her. When I was a child I used to have a sensitive neck!! But I am not saying I WAS her so don't send the men in white coats round YET.

Can't think of anyone else, but this man I would die to meet (excuse my pun:-))
