*Meltdown* by MMMmmm... on 1 February 2008 3:14am

I hear there's a new show opening in London about Britney, called "Meltdown." I have heard a lot of crazy perspectives in the media, but I think she is just really, really pissed off. She's mad that things didn't work out with K-fed, etc., she's mad by all the things people say about her - so she's been acting out for a long time - acting absurd - because her life seems absurd to her. And she's upset with her family because they seem to be trying to blame it on her, and she feels that's not fair - things haven't worked out, but it wasn't all her fault. I don't think anyone will make any progress with her until they stop blaming her. I look forward to when it all gets better...

I really feel sorry for her.

It would be easier if she would just stop acting out, but I think she's still has too much anger to get over it yet. And the more people blame her, the more mad she gets at them. And the more she acts out.

It's down to substance abuse I think. It does your head in. Been there. Am there.

A woman drove me to drink......never even thanked her.

I think that difficulties lead people to substance abuse, and then it's a cycle...

The 'substances' are just an escape.

If the difficulties aren't made better, it will be harder to stop the substances.

I don't think the substances are her main challenge.

What about when you are the difficulty ?

Johnny, it's always more complex than that. You just have to decide you want to be happy, and not muck around anymore. Appreciate your life like you could lose any part of it tomorrow that you don't want to lose. The shortest answer is have fun but don't be an idiot. :)

I have fun. The people around me don't though.

Well, do you have fun at their expense?

Or is there anything you could do that would contribute to them having more fun?
