I haven't seen it, is Michael good in it??

His character's really funny and the movie isn't bad, but A Fish Called Wanda was much better.

I don't want to compare it to Wanda. I absolutely adore Fierce Creatures, and Michael's character is hysterically funny. Animals are sweet too, and of course dear John Cleese is a beauty.

I haven't seen it, but it doesn't really have anything to do with A Fish Called Wanda except that it stars the same actors. I really want to see it though.

I really want to see it too, but it's not out to *whispers* download... :-)

Fierce Creatures is such a gentle film. It may not be as fast paced as its predecessor but I personally think it's a gem. This was one of my youngest sons favourite movies, he loved Michael's pet spider!

I just saw the trailer and it looks so funny :-) Lots of Michael/Cleese scenes in it??

It's been listed in places as the sequel to AFCW, but it isn't--it's just the same four principals. Tom Georgeson has a cameo, too, and Maria Aitken is John's secretary. John is still VERY sexy--some very believable chemistry between him and Jamie Lee. Kevin doesn't look bad, either. John's daughter Cynthia plays the small mammal keeper named Pip.

It is a gentle movie. A few gross out jokes, some implied violence that turns out to be false, and some implied kinky sex that also turns out to be false. Mostly it's a rather complicated farce. Michael is brilliant as the nerdy entymologist! There aren't too many scenes with just Michael and John, but a lot of scenes with them and other characters.

It has that wonderful Pythonesque "perfectly normal situation that slowly descends into madness" thing going. Probably the most exquisite example of it after Mr. Creosote. I own it, and I love watching it over and over again.

Sounds great. I think I'm gonna order it someday :-)
