Dogsitting ( again ) by johnnythemonkey on 14 April 2008 2:12pm

To be more accurate, my wife is dogsitting. My eldest sister went off to Spain this morning to visit another sister and Meg is looking after her little Shih-tzu. He is an alright liitle thing but he gets on my nerves a bit by sitting staring at me with his squashed in little face, so I turfed him out into the back garden a couple of hours ago ( don't worry, it's a nice sunny day. )
Meg says I'm being cruel as he is a 'house dog '. Never heard of such a thing and if he wants to be a house dog, it won't be in this house !
Anyway, the fresh air will do him good.
Btw, his name is Nico ( something else that's silly about him. )

Awww he sounds cute.

Yeah, he does, Anne. I'm a big dog lover and have a dachsund. Well, it's the family dog at Mom's house.

Johnny, bring that darling thing inside. It might be sunny out there today, but it isn't warm. According to my weather bug it is only in the low to mid 40's in Edinburgh so it's probably colder in the Glasgow area. Not warm enough to keep Nico out for too long. :~ ) I think you probably have a softer heart than you pretend.

Yeah, you really have me sussed Patty. Really soft hearted I am. In fact I'm sooo nice I make Tucsonmike look like Dick Dastardly.
Hello Dick ! *adjusts halo*

I would've said "any MORE bad habits", Kazzzz!!

;-)

Oh hang on! You're talking about the dog, aren't you! I thought you meant Mike!!! Hahahahaha

Re: Dogsitting ( again ) by kazzzz on 15 April 2008 2:40pm

Oh no, Mike has no bad habits, he's perfect. Johnny, on the other hand, is rife with canine ailments. Lockjaw, rabies, distemper, you name it.

Fleas, ticks and mange too, I understand. And what's this with lifting his leg all the time???

Oh I know and don't let him near your good couch.
