It's mad!!

On a slightly different note, I noticed from the Minutes that our local Parish Council are now complaining about the number of For Sale notices in the village!! It spoils the look of it apparently. What are people supposed to do? Stand outside their property and wave to all passersby in the hope of a sale? Mad. The Parish Council are going to write to the relevant Estate Agents to get them to sort it out. I hope they get 'suitable' replies ahem.

They also once complained to a near-neighbour of ours, a farmer, because he mowed the strip of grass that runs around his property. Apparently it was not his to mow - but no-one else, i.e the Parish Council, does it so it is now overgrown.

Tsk.

Perhaps it is because WE live there hahaha!

Stop trying to wind me up - the truth is people can't afford the prices.

Napoleon said the English were a nation of shopkeepers. Lately they have all been trying to be property developers. I hope they all get their fingers burnt rather badly. Greed, greed and more greed.

Those people should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves, shouting racial abuse. Pathetic.

Hi, Johnny. I can beat that. My Dad was on a train once and an Asian kid was talking to a white kid and they were getting on great. Then the white kid got a chocolate bar out and offered some to her friend. The Asian kid's mother turned mental saying that the kid was a racisist for offering her kid some white chocolate! I mean, for heaven's sake! How pathetic is that? I mean, the kid was just being thoughtful in sharing her sweets.

Terry S that IS pathetic!!!

When I lived in Scotland I was picked on a lot for being Australian. I even had kids following me home throwing glass filled snowballs at me, just for beiing from another country...my shoes would be full of blood by the time I got home...this was NOT fun. My maths teacher would taunt me when I gave a wron answer to a question, he would get me to stand up in front of the whole class, saying that Australians could play sport but were hopeless at maths and would have the whole class laugh at me!
Racism really is the lowest form of attack.

That teacher would have a lawsuit on her hands if that happened her, Kaz. probably lose her job too. Hopefully, anyway... No wonder some kids grow up with little or no moral fiber.
