Thank you for the link! This way, you don't get TOO much Regis & Kelly, mostly the Pythons! (I shouldn't pick on R & K, they did have the guys on, after all.)

I like Regis and Kelly. They are good folk with big hearts. Regis doesn't have a bad bone in his body. he endures.

Sorry if I offend you, patty, but I am always amazed at obtuseness of Regis Philbin (and whoever his latest mindless bimbo is) and, in this case, even more totally amazed at how he could have such five compelling people (and one cut-out) and produced such a boring interview.

Philbin is cut from the same Irish Catholic cloth of the Knights of Columbus of my childhood - all feathers and pomp and pompous attitude without a thought in their brains to back it up -gives us Irish a bad name....
(You'd have to have gone through an American Irish Catholic female childhood in the 50's to understand why I find him so offensive.)

What makes you think I am not Catholic with the same background of which you speak?

I must add, though, that American TV hosts seldom interview the Pythons, or Michael alone as a travel documentarian, well. Don't know why, but they are boring and ask basic questions that only require already well-known answers. Believe it or not, most of the people I know, don't know them (or much about who they are or what they did). They might have heard the name Monty Python, but that's about it. And when I mention Michael Palin, it's like saying a name from outer space.

it's quite the same for me, Patty... Though I then invit all these people at home for a Python night! ;)

(usually starting with Holy Grail, to me the "easiest-to-get" work of our Fab 6, especially considering that i've mainly shown Python to foreigners - aka non English speakers)

Well Patty, I think you've made quite a few anti-Catholic posts. Shall I 'do a bIG' and drag them up ?

Yes, please. I am not aware that I did that. I'd love to see so I can correct my shortcomings in the future.
