British Summertime by Spursfan on 27 March 2010 10:53pm

If you are in the UK, don't forget to put your clocks forward an hour tonight (officially at 1 a.m.).

:)

Thank you, Anne. I had forgotten already!

Our clocks usually go back this weekend but it's not until next weekend now because we have the F1 Grand Prix here tonight , so it's been delayed for a week.

Australia is the new America !!
Money now even dictates the clocks.

I can't stand it...I went to the airport on Friday night to pick up my parents holiday and the whole place was full of drunken idiots all ready to tear Melbourne apart for the weekend in the name of sport. The whole city is gridlocked and one of the British drivers had his car impounded that same night for speeding!! One Ray's workmates actually impounded the car. I don't know what his name is but he's well known.
Bring on next week when they all bugger off.

oh it was Lewis Hamilton...

Re: British Summertime by johnnythemonkey on 28 March 2010 3:22am

It sure was!
Maybe it's the only speeding he'll do this season.

Much as I love sport, I can't believe the changing of the clocks was postponed for F1, Kazzzz!!

Non-sporty people always moan if TV progs are changed for a sporting event, (and I do the same if it is cricket or golf) but that is going TOO far?

I presume it is because of overseas TV coverage or something?

:)
