Re: Good Sense of Sailing Direction of the SANTA MARIA? by bIG bLOGGER on 8 April 2010 2:17pm

The SANTA MARIA??...

..Wasn't that the ship with a wide beam which Cap'n Christopher Columbus sailed right up the Ohio River in 1812 ??

Re: FALSE SENSE OF SHAME OR SANTIMONY? by Loretto on 8 April 2010 2:25pm

I thought that ship was called The Holy Guacamole.

Re: HOLY GUACAMOLE? or SANTA MARIA? by bIG bLOGGER on 8 April 2010 2:33pm

I think he built that ship for his later expedition in 1817 when he went round the Bay of Mexico fishing for carlin, strumming mariachi melodies on his semi-acoustic
guitar and occasionally blurting out: "Holy Guacamole!!" when he got something bIG on the end of his line.

You are ordered by The Captain to be stripped, strapped to the fore-mast,and generously awarded 10 lashes of the cat-o'Nine-tails.

Re: Real Sense of Shame?? Absence of Sanctimoniousness?? by bIG bLOGGER on 8 April 2010 3:20pm

You must be ashamed of your absence of holy santimony.

The Captain orders you forthwith to clean and polish brightly the Sergeant's men's boots for the rest of the afternoon, then when you have completed that task you must scrub the poop-deck of all the accumulated poop.

There really is some rubbish posted here.

Re: THE SMELL OF SHAME : You call the wind "MARIA"?? by bIG bLOGGER on 8 April 2010 3:42pm

The Captain is displeased that you show him abject contempt by not talking in the proper KING'S ENGLISH.

The Captain sentences you to stand on the prow for the next 4 hours with a Pelican on your shoulder, reciting Pirate doggerel until you see a 20foot crocodile below in the water,at which point you will receive precise further instructions from the Captain.

Re: A REAL SENSE OF SHAME ON THE SANTA MARIA? by bIG bLOGGER on 9 April 2010 1:22pm

The Captain, with respect to General Hemingway, thinks it may be a "Farewell to arms, legs, and ears" as well.
