Wheelrim Saying Hi! by Wheelrim on 20 April 2010 8:22am

Hi Guys`n`Gals. Long time no talk. Just checking in to say I am now 12 Months on the road, now in 5th month in Australia in a Mazda E2000 Pop-Top camper van. so far Shirley and I have clocked up 10.000km in our drive from Perth to where we are now, Budgewoi, 110km N of Sydney. The camper is fab, and its time you took some time out of your stressful lives and planned you own drive round Oz for a year! the camper will be finishing up in Perth at the end of November, if you dont do it then, when will you do it? c`mon, you have ALWAYS wanted to, eh? Its a great life.

Good to hear from you wheelnut. The trip sounds great and well done to you for having the get-up and go to do it.

Are you returning to your old job at the end of your travels ?

Hi, Wheelrim, long time no hear. Sounds like you are having great fun! Should think you have seen most of Australia by now. Have you been to the Centre yet?

So Wheelnut, are you giving this camper away at the end of your trip ? I can't resist a free offer.......even if it means having to fly to Perth. :)

Well, as this is written down and can be read by others JTM, I can say, most definately, that I do not WANT to return to any type of work! been to the centre, not yet on this trip, but did it 10 years ago on a similar trip, we will go there this time though as we still have seven months left here, did europe for 6 months in another van before coming here. Giving the camper away? virtully! its a steal, there will be some photos of it on my (aaagh!) facebook page (I Hate f$@**ng Facebook but its the only way my two friends can keep up.

Sorry for the delay Kazzz, we are at Budgewoi at the moment, and what a great location. Today though we drive north and on up towards Cooktown (sloooowly) before Alice then Darwin then the west coast, leaving Perth at the end of November. JTM, if you reallywant to see a good looking English Male I am on FB Under John Winton, Location will probably be Stafford. Best wishes to you all, and please look after the UK in my temporary absence.

OMG, he's Dale's brother !
I'm envious ( in a nice way ) of your continued adventures John, good luck with the rest of your trip.

We now have a Palinite F/B group wheelnut, so if you want to edit your personal info from your last post, I'll post your details on the F/B group so that people can contact you without the idiots having your details.

JTM.
